Fitzroy · Melbourne
A 600-square-metre gaming lounge and esports arena on Smith Street. Drop into next-gen console bays, RTX battlestations and a full VR arena — then stay for the weekly tournaments.
Our Story
We started with six second-hand PCs and a dream of a local home for competitive play. A decade on, MysticSpinEmpire is where Melbourne comes to compete.
Six rigs, a dodgy projector and a tournament ladder scribbled on a whiteboard. Friday nights in a Fitzroy basement quietly became the city’s most serious scrim sessions.
We took the keys to a former textiles warehouse at 215 Smith Street and built our first 24-seat arena. The grand opening sold out in under an hour.
A full free-roam VR arena landed upstairs, alongside a soundproofed streaming studio so our regulars could go live without the room noise.
Our flagship monthly tournament now draws teams from Geelong to the CBD, with a $5,000 AUD prize pool and a packed-out spectator tier.

“Our five-stack placed in the Empire Cup and the atmosphere was electric — proper spectator tier, casters, the lot. Best venue in the inner north, hands down.”
